Bienvenida
En nombre del Comité Organizador (INIA-CSIC y UCM), nos complace anunciar la próxima celebración de la cita bienal de la Asociación Española de Toxicología. En esta ocasión, la sede donde celebraremos el XXVI Congreso Español y X Iberoamericano de Toxicología, del 17 al 19 de junio de 2026, será la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería de Montes, Forestal y del Medio Natural de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
Este encuentro reunirá a expertos, investigadores, docentes y profesionales de la Toxicología con el objetivo de compartir conocimientos, experiencias y avances que contribuyan a la protección de la salud y el medio ambiente. El lema de este año, Toxicología Integral para un Futuro Seguro, aúna todas las áreas vinculadas a nuestra disciplina, siendo fiel reflejo de lo que sucederá en el Congreso, donde podremos poner en común nuestras investigaciones y propuestas docentes más recientes, permitiendo conocer de primera mano los estudios científicos más innovadores en desarrollo, ofreciendo una visión global de la Toxicología actual y de los retos que se nos presentan de cara al futuro, desde la perspectiva de Una Sola Salud.
Durante estos días, tendremos la oportunidad de abordar los retos actuales y futuros en Toxicología, abarcando desde la evaluación de riesgos químicos hasta la innovación en métodos alternativos y la regulación nacional/internacional. El congreso será un espacio para el diálogo interdisciplinario, la colaboración científica y docente, así como el fortalecimiento de redes que impulsen nuestra comunidad a nivel transatlántico.
Madrid es bien conocida por su riqueza cultural y hospitalidad, siendo además un escenario ideal para combinar ciencia y convivencia. Welcome
On behalf of the Organizing Committee (INIA-CSIC and UCM), we are pleased to announce the upcoming biennial meeting of the Spanish Association of Toxicology. This year, the venue for the XXVI Spanish and X Ibero-American Congress of Toxicology, to be held from 17th to 19th June, 2026, will be the Higher Technical School of Forestry, Forest Engineering and Natural Environment of the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
This meeting will bring together experts, researchers, professors, and professionals in Toxicology with the aim of sharing knowledge, experiences, and advances that contribute to the protection of health and the environment. This year’s theme, «Comprehensive Toxicology for a Safe Future,» unites all areas related to our discipline, faithfully reflecting what will take place at the Congress. Here, we will share our latest research and teaching proposals, gain first-hand knowledge of the most innovative scientific studies underway, and acquire a global perspective on current Toxicology and the challenges we face in the future, from the One Health perspective.
During these days, we will have the opportunity to address current and future challenges in Toxicology, ranging from chemical risk assessment to innovation in alternative methods and national/international regulations. The congress will be a space for interdisciplinary dialogue, scientific and educational collaboration, and the strengthening of networks that will boost our community at a transatlantic level.
Madrid is well known for its cultural richness and hospitality, and is also an ideal setting to combine science and community. We invite you to actively participate in the scheduled program and activities, and to take the opportunity to enjoy our city and all it has to offer its visitors.
